These Terms govern your use of the LadyMayla website, waiting list, and private travel portal.

1. Agreement to these Terms
By accessing or using the LadyMayla website, joining the waiting list, requesting a magic link, or using the private portal, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and LadyMayla (operated by LadyMayla and authorised staff). They should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. About LadyMayla
LadyMayla is a private, invitation-based travel group for journeys associated with LadyMayla, focused on São Tomé and Príncipe. The public website introduces the experience and collects waiting list interest. Detailed itineraries, visa guidance, flight-route information, and planning tools live in the private portal after approval and invitation.
LadyMayla is not a generic public booking marketplace, airline, hotel chain, or government immigration authority. External bookings, visas, and travel documents remain your responsibility unless a separate written arrangement says otherwise.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the service. The platform is intended for adults organising travel. You confirm that information you submit is accurate and that you will keep it reasonably up to date.
4. Waiting list and accounts
4.1 Waiting list
Joining the waiting list expresses interest in receiving information and possible invitation to the private portal. It does not guarantee a place on a trip, pricing, dates, or portal access.
4.2 Email verification
We may require email verification. You are responsible for providing a working email address you control and for checking that inbox (including spam folders) for confirmation and invitation messages.
4.3 Access decisions
LadyMayla and authorised staff may approve, invite, delay, or decline portal access at their discretion to preserve the private nature of the experience.
5. Private portal access
Portal access is personal and non-transferable. Travellers typically sign in with a secure magic link sent to the authorised email address. You must keep that inbox secure and must not share magic links or session access with others.
We may revoke access, expire links, or end sessions if we believe access has been compromised, misused, or is no longer appropriate.
6. Content and information
Trip details, itineraries, inclusions, exclusions, travel notes, FAQs, and related content are provided for planning among authorised travellers. Content may change as journeys are refined. Published information is intended to be verified by LadyMayla or authorised staff before release; unfinished or unpublished draft material should not be treated as a commitment.
Unless expressly stated in a separate confirmation, portal content does not itself constitute a final travel contract, ticket, visa approval, or insurance policy.
7. Visa and flight guidance
Visa and flight-route tools are guidance aids based on information you provide and rules or routes configured by authorised staff. They may be incomplete, change over time, or not cover every nationality or itinerary.
You remain responsible for verifying entry requirements, passport validity, vaccinations, and travel documents with official sources, and for confirming flight availability, fares, and bookings with airlines or booking providers.
8. Travel assistant
The in-portal assistant may use approved FAQ content and, when enabled, AI-assisted responses. It is a convenience tool, not a substitute for official advice, legal advice, medical advice, or a personal commitment from LadyMayla.
If the assistant cannot verify an answer, use support to speak with LadyMayla. Do not rely on the assistant for emergency decisions, immigration outcomes, or binding trip changes.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to access another person’s account, portal data, or admin areas;
- share, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit private portal content;
- interfere with security, rate limits, authentication, or platform integrity;
- submit false, misleading, abusive, or unlawful content;
- use the service to spam, harass, or harm others;
- reverse engineer or probe the platform except where applicable law allows.
10. Third-party services
The portal may link to third-party booking providers, maps, or official information sources. Those services are outside our control. Your use of them is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party sites, bookings, payments, or cancellations unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
11. Intellectual property
The LadyMayla name, brand presentation, website design, and platform content (excluding your own submitted messages) are owned by LadyMayla or licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the service for personal travel planning as an authorised user.
You retain rights in content you submit (such as support messages), and you grant us a licence to use that content as needed to operate the service and respond to you.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular travel outcome.
Travel involves inherent risks and dependencies on airlines, borders, weather, health rules, and local conditions. Always verify critical details before you travel.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LadyMayla and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost bookings, or travel disruption arising from your use of the website, waiting list, portal, assistant, or linked third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LadyMayla and authorised staff from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of others’ rights, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the waiting list or portal if you breach these Terms, if required for security, or if the private journey programme ends or changes. You may request deletion of your personal account data as described in the Privacy Policy.
16. Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Cancellation and refund rules for trip payments are described in our Refund Policy.
17. Changes to the service or Terms
We may update the website, portal features, and these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we revise this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
18. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms do not create a partnership, employment, or agency relationship. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with operating or transferring the service.
These Terms are written in English. Where a translation is provided, the English version prevails if there is a conflict, unless mandatory local law says otherwise.
